QALO is an American jewelry company headquartered in Santa Ana, California. It primarily produces wedding and commitment rings made from silicone rather than traditional metal. QALO is an acronym for "Quality Athletics Love Outdoors."

Situation

QALO first approached OMNI in early 2017 to get help growing their Amazon business. After assessing their marketing efforts, OMNI identified an opportunity with Amazon Marketing Services paid search to help drive profitable growth for QALO through Sponsored Product Listings.

Solution

OMNI completed an AMS audit and re-structured QALO’s paid search account to focus on tactics around Brand, Non-Brand/Category and Competitive terms. OMNI also implemented more frequent bid adjustment strategies to increase audience size while managing towards profitable ad spend.

Outcome

By separating out paid search tactics, aligning on KPI’s and managing bids for each campaign type, OMNI was able to reduce the Advertising Cost of Sale (ACoS) from 70% to 22%, all while increasing the scale and spend of the campaign by 7x! These results were accomplished over a 6 month timeframe.
